Mr. Philip D. Grooms, age 74, of Puryear, TN, died early Tuesday morning at Henry County Health Care Center. His funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 am, graveside at Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 9:00 am Thursday. He is survived locally by a step-son, Matthew King, and a brother, Roger Grooms.
