Funeral service to be held at McEvoy Funeral Home on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Bobby Campbell of Central Point Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Henry Cemetery. Named as pallbearers: Mike Rayburn, Zach Wilbanks, Pat Carroll, Kenny Barber, Eddie Ellis, and Eddie Turner; honorary pallbearers: Tim Carroll, Keith Qualls and Curtis Spears. Visitation will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00P.M. Sunday and after 12:00P.M. Monday up until service time at 2:00P.M. He was born in Houston County, TN to the late James L. Wilbanks and Irene Lynch Wilbanks of Henry, TN. Phillip is also survived by a daughter, Rachel Wilbanks (fianc Christopher Brett Burns) of Amory, MS; sons: Jordan Wilbanks of Murray, KY, James M. Wilbanks of Henry, TN; sister: Lisa (Tim) Olive of Henry, TN; brother: James Gerald (Connie) Wilbanks of Henry, TN; grandchild: Zachariah Wilbanks; niece: Misty (James) Perras; nephew: Zach (fiance Jamie Mills) Wilbanks; great-nieces: Peyton Starr Ross and Alexis Perras; great-nephew: James Caleb Perras. He is preceded by nephew Shawn Ross. Phillip was a member of the National Guard serving in Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom. He loved riding his Harley Davidson.
