Mr. Priest Tharpe, age 79 died Thursday November 13, 2008 at the Jackson Madison County Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Tharpe will be Tuesday November 18, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. in the McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitaion will be at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday. He was the son of Doc and Dela Chabel Tharpe, both preceded.
