Ray Dale Forrest, age 68 of Camden, TN, passed away at his residence Saturday September 17, 2016. His body will be cremated and a memorial service will be Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM. He was born May 21, 1948 in Paris, TN to the late Herbert Leon and Mary Frances Wheatley Forrest. Survived by daughters: Mitzie (Justin) Thompson, Cleveland, TN, Mishelle Forrest, New Johnsonville, TN; son: Joseph Ray Forrest, Mesa, AZ; brothers: Johnny Forrest, Big Sandy, TN, Hobert (Charlotte) Forrest, Big Sandy, TN, Dwight Forrest, Big Sandy, TN; grandchildren: Kacy McKinney, Lauren Rumsey, Ben Rumsey, Alexander Forrest, Kennidi Forrest, Nathan Forrest; great-grandchild: Annie Laine McKinney; special friend and companion: Sam Forrest and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by a sister: Sue Helen Wright. Mr. Forrest was a U.S. Army Veteran serving three tours in Vietnam. He was a Master Mason. Ray was a Christian by faith and enjoyed spending time with his dog.
