Rayborn Westerman, age 77 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Henry County Healthcare Center. His funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Kelleher of Bridge of Hope Church and Bro. Joe Watson of Church of God of Prophecy in Jackson to officiate. Burial will follow the service in Bakers Chapel Cemetery in Benton County. Named as pallbearers are Larry Woodard, Barry Shelby, David White, Walter Killius, Jr., Eric Killius, and Ron Pedro Bryant. Rayborn Westerman was born March 28, 1942 in Stribling, Tennessee to the late Audie Westerman and the late Aurora Matheney Westerman. He married Geraldine Williams Westerman on September 18, 1965 and she survives in Paris. Ray is also survived by his daughters, Terrie Lynn Westerman of Paducah and Tammy Jo Dotson of Portland, Tennessee; grandchildren, Courtney Rae (David) White, Benjamin Joseph Dotson, and Andrew Shae Dotson; great grandchild, Rosalie Mae White; sister, Dianne (Walter) Killius of Dover; brothers, Clifford (Mary Ann) Westerman of Connecticut and Marvin Glen (Barbara) Westerman of New Britton, Connecticut; and sister-in-law, Ruth (Larry) Woodard of Paris. Besides his parents, Rayborn is also preceded in death by sister, Nina Mae Gray and brother, James Robert Westerman. Mr. Westerman attended Bridge of Hope Church and was a happy Christian. He was an avid fisherman and a jack of all trades who enjoyed working on small engines. Rayborn enjoyed people and was said to have never met a stranger.
