Mr. Raymond Y. Miller, age 80 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at his residence. His funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Bethel Fellowship Mennonite Church with Luke Troyer and Tim Miller to officiate. Serving as pallbearers are Caleb, Darrel, Christopher, Harlan, and Anthony Nissley and Jeremy Miller. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. Visitation is scheduled on Saturday at the church from 1:00 until 4:00 P.M. and again from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Raymond Y. Miller was born in Huntsburg, Ohio to the late Yost S. Miller and the late Savannah Byler Miller. He married Rachel Swarey Miller on April 18, 1963 and she survives in Paris. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Raymond is also survived by daughters, Ella Jean (Robert) Nissley of Monticello, KY, Loretta (Eddie) Nissley of Hiddenite, NC, and Janice (David) Nissley of Cynthiana, KY; son, Raymond E. (Darlene Wagler) Miller of Paris; thirty grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Miriam (Elmer) Beiler and Bertha (Paul) Peachey; brothers, Lester (Betty) Miller and John (Sarah) Miller; also survived by other family members and friends. Besides his parents, Mr. Miller is also preceded in death by two grandsons, Gabriel and one still born; his brother, Uriel (Viola) Miller, both preceded and by sister-in-law, Verna Miller. Mr. Miller attended Bethel Fellowship Mennonite Church and enjoyed farming all of his life.
