Mr. Peters passed away at his residence Monday evening.Visitation will be Friday 4:00 until 8:00 and after 9:00 Saturday until funeral time at ll:00 at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Puryear City Cemetery, with full military rites. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Kish Peters, Two daughters Julia Ann (Jack) Wilkins and Mary Ellen Peters both of Puryear, Two sisters Barbara (Harry) Watson, New Cumberland, WV and Louise (Carl) Kitchen, Ravenna, OH, One brother Roscoe Peters, Burgettstown, PA, Five Grandchildren and Four Great-Grandchildren. He was in the U.S. Army from January 1946 until he was injured in the line of duty and honorably discharged with a disability in December 1947. He then worked for Michigan Glass Line as a fiberglass craftsman in Detroit, MI until he retired to Puryear, TN in 1979.
