Mr. Raymond "Ray" Wills, age 80 of Springville passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at his residence. His body is to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 8, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Paris with Dr. Robert Martin officiating.
Raymond Wills was born December 4, 1936 in Glasgow, Montana to the late Reuben Philip Wills and the late Emma Helen Meidinger Wills. On October 14, 1995 he married Brigitte Sperling Wills who survives in Springville, Tennessee. He is also survived by two daughters, Bonnie Howard and Denise (Tom) Donnelly both of Elkhorn, Wisconsin; one sister, Dianne (Ed) Buckley of Kenosha, Wisconsin; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Ray was also preceded in death by a sister, Faye Wills; two brothers, Clifford Paul Wills in 2014 and Darrell Wills in infancy; and a son-in-law, Michael Howard.
Mr. Wills retired to Tennessee in 2005 after 32 years as an independent insurance agent. He was in the United States Air Force from 1955-1959 serving as a Chaplain's assistant in France. He was a Green Bay Packer fan and loved his animals. He was past president of the Chamber of Commerce in East Troy, Wisconsin and a member of the Kiwanis Club for over 35 years. Ray was instrumental in starting and building the Southern Lakes Evangelical Free Church in Elkhorn, Wisconsin where his cremains are to be interred.
