RC Evans, age 84 of Paris, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at his residence. His funeral service will be 3:00 PM graveside at Bethesda Cemetery with Bro. Charles Cate of New Bethel Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow and visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 PM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home prior to the service. RC Evans was born November 7, 1936 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Porter Evans and the late May Nell Burcham Evans. On December 30, 1961 he married Janice Wrye Evans and she survives in Paris, TN. (59 years) RC loved mechanic work and he loved working in his garage. He loved his family and he loved his Lord. Along with his wife, he is also survived by his two daughters: Cendi (Frank) Planchart of Paris and Teresa (Mark) Lee of Paris; five grandchildren: Tassie (Chris) Cherry, Sydney (Kody) Rock, Matt (Jenna) Lee, Rusty Lee (fiancee Brittany Causey), and Clayton (Jeri) Lee; ten great grandchildren: Rye Moore, Emma Quinn, Tanner Cherry, Billi Kate Lee, Kenny Lee, Titus Lee, Case Lee, Maggie Lee, Liam Causey, and Cash Causey; two sisters: Sarah Mustain and Sue Carlton both of Paris; and two brothers: Lynn (Pam) Evans of McKenzie and Jessie (Brenda) Evans of Paris.
