Survived by daughters: Anita Fernstrom (Jerry)Berry, Paris, Marjo Tarwater Jacks, Shelby County, TN; sons: Daniel W. (Tommie)Fernstrom, Jr., Independence, MS, Chuck (Anita) Tarwater, Shelby County, TN; grandchildren: twelve; great-grandchildren: twenty six; great-great grandchildren: seven; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded by husband: Daniel W. Fernstrom; husband: Charles E. Tarwater; parents: James Thomas and Ruth Mary Wilkes Rains; son-in-law: Larry Jacks; sister: Marjorie Gammon and a brother: Jim Rains.
Mrs. Tarwater was a Baptist by faith and an active member of the Maplewood Baptist Church. She was an active member of the GOP and the Paris/Henry County Republican Women. Rebecca was a history enthusiast and enjoyed studying her heritage.
