Funeral service for Mr. Barrentine will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home, Bro. Craig Peevyhouse of Birds Creek Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Glennville, GA. Visitation will be Monday 4:00 - 7:00 PM and after 11:00 AM Tuesday. Born May 12, 1949 in Moultrie, GA to the late Luther Jefferson Barrentine and Lila Montene DeMont Barrentine. On September 1, 2000 he married Susan Edlin Barrentine, she survives in Springville, TN. Survived by daughter: Kimberly (Michael) Archambault, Ludowici, GA; step-daughters: Ashley Cypret, Oak Harbor, WA, Deven Cypret, Paris, TN; son: Michael Barrentine, Glennville, GA; step-sons: Lukus (Lisa) Edlin, Coupeville, WA, Nick O'Dell, Enid, OK; sisters: Sondra Hinkle, Savannah, GA, Darria Lynn Hellams, Glennville, GA; grandchildren: Sean, Keaton, Christian, Hayden and Natalie. Preceded by one sister: Phyliss Branch; one brother: Jerry Barrentine. Reggie attended New Harmony Baptist Church. He was a member of the NRA, Vietnam War Veteran, U.S. Marine serving in the 9th regiment 3rd Marine division. He was a truck driver for 26 years.
