Funeral service 2:00PM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 11:00 - 2:00PM Saturday. Serving as pallbearers will be Jamie Hoofman, Brandon Hoofman, Richard Thomas, James Robert Tharpe, Leon Murray and Jacob Odom with Jeremy Hoofman as honorary pallbearer. Survived by a daughter: T'Ayra Shanice Hoofman-Tharpe, Paris, son: Jeremy Brian Hoofman, Paris; sisters: Janice (James) McLean, Pinson, Patricia Buie, Springville, nieces and nephews: Carol (Billy) Rhodes, John Baker, Jamie (Mischelle) Hoofman, Amanda (Leon) Murray and Angela (Sean) Ferguson and special friend: Fred Tharpe, Jr. Preceded by her parents: James Oliver "Jimmy" Hoofman and Ruby Lee Wynn Hoofman; sister: Kimmy Walker; brother: Jimmy D. "Bubba" Hoofman; niece: Tammy smith and a nephew: Dustin Hoofman. Gina enjoyed crafting, singing, dancing, the outdoors and helping others.
