Regina Faye Lamb, age 88 of Paris passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center. Her funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, April 22, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Veazey and Corey Cain of Maplewood Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Walker Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM Monday prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Bruce Alexander, Roger Veazey, Tim Lacy, Jimmy Barrett, Clint McFarland, and Steve Clendenin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clint Barrett and Rusty Compton. Regina Faye Hopkins Lamb was born November 18, 1930 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late William Eli Hopkins and the late Della McDaniel Hopkins. On December 19, 1947 she married Jess Dennis Lamb and he preceded her in death on January 17, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Delisa Dawn "Dee Dee" Lamb on January 17, 1979; her son Terry Dennis Lamb on April 22, 1988; five sisters: Kay Forsythe, Hinda Thomas, Sarah Owen, Johnnie Shankle, and Rebecca Horvath; and four brothers: Mills Rhodes Barfield, Dorris Hopkins, George David Hopkins, and Reginald Hopkins. Ms. Lamb is survived by one sister, Dorothy Wade and one brother, Keith (Pat) Hopkins, both of Paris, TN; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Gina Lamb was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church. After the tragic loss of her family, she overcame her grief through serving others with a loving attitude. She baked pies and cakes; crocheted afghans; sent cards for Sunday School Class; and worked as a caregiver. She decorated her home and yard at Christmas, always giving nice Christmas ornaments. She also enjoyed sharing the flowers from her yard with her friends.
