Regina Underwood Owen, age 84 of Henry, TN, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Center in Dresden, TN. Funeral service 2:00PM Sunday, September 25, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Otis Hinton officiating with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Saturday and after 12:00PM Sunday. She was born in May 3, 1932 in Henry County, TN to the late Marvin and Ima Wood Underwood. On November 22, 1962 she married Roe D. Owen, he preceded June 14, 1995. Survived by a daughter: Rose Wade, Sharon, TN; sons: Richard (Amber) Owen, McKenzie, TN; brother: Harry Underwood, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Justin (Kara) Owen, Heather (Brady) Jackson, Essie Temple Owen, Hannah Wade, Sarah Wade, Benjamin Wade; step-granddaughter: Cortney Wade; great-grandchildren: Aubrey Jackson, Emily Jackson and three step-great-grandsons. Preceded by a son: Russell Owen, April 12, 1993; son-in-law: Trent Wade and a brother: Roger Underwood. Mrs. Owen was a lifelong member of Oak Hill Union Church. She formerly worked at the Holley Carburetor Plant, was a homemaker and seamstress. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Oak Hill Union Church or to Gideon International.
