He was born In Henry County to the late Conway and Ruby Paschall Jackson. On December 5, 1944 he married Selona Underwood Jackson, she survives in Puryear. Survived by a daughter: Debbie (Ron) Lovvorn, Puryear; son: Larry (Shelia) Jackson, Puryear; brother: Gordon (Pat) Jackson, Puryear; grandchildren: Russell (Melissa) Jackson, Kimberly Jackson; step-grandchildren: Shannon McCampbell, Bryan Hedges and a great-grandchild: Ashley Jackson. Preceded by a son: Ronnie Jackson, 2008; sister: Beulah Grace Jackson and a grandchild: Whitney Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a member of Puryear United Methodist Church. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and Holley Carburetor Plant. He was an Army Veteran and a farmer.
