Richard "Jerry" Bevill

Richard “Jerry” Bevill, age 84 of Springville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Henry County Health and Rehab. His body is to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Jerry Bevill was born December 5, 1941 in Paris, Tennessee to the late William Herbert Bevill and the late Minnie Frances Webb Bevill. He married Fredda Sykes Bevill on September 2, 1989 and she survives in Springville. Jerry is also survived by son, Tony (Donna) Bowers of Springville; grandson, Spencer Bowers (Charles Clark) of Nashville; nephew, Rich Bevill of New Johnsonville; brothers-in-law, Leslie (Linda) Sykes, Jackie Sykes, and Rusty (Holly) Sykes; also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

Jerry was a Baptist by faith who was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Unbeknownst to most, he was an artist who was very talented with charcoal and pencil. Jerry enjoyed gathering with friends on Tuesday evenings for dinner and solving the world’s problems.
