Mr. Richard Joe Crank passed away on October 26, 2025, at the Baptist Home in Ironton, Missouri, at the age of 92 years.
Dickie, as he was known to his family and friends, was born on January 1, 1933, in Henry County, Tennessee, to Richard Lee Crank and Ruth Howard Crank of Puryear, Tennessee. He was united in marriage to Imogene (Jeanie) Robins on November 1, 1960.
Dickie was a lifelong resident of Paris, Tennessee, and was well-known for his knowledge of Kentucky Lake and fishing. He owned and operated Tower Sporting Goods for many years. He also owned an ice business that serviced the Kentucky Lake area. Dickie was an avid hunter and fisherman. He raised and trained hunting dogs and received several trophies for them over the years.
Preceding Dickie in death were his wife, Jeanie, his parents, Richard and Ruth Crank, his sister, Faye Cantrell, and his brother-in-law, Bill Cantrell.
He is survived by three nieces, Karen Tutt and her husband John, Linda Antonik, and Judy Radecki.
There will be a graveside service on November 17, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, Tennessee.
McEvoy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
