Robbie "Bobby" Clayton, age 67 of Puryear, TN passed away Wednesday March 2, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Funeral service 10:00AM Saturday March 5, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. John Smith of Fairview Baptist Church officiating, burial will follow at Cox Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Michael Guffey, Jason Hall, Jerry Clayton, Mike Savage, Drex Boyd, Jackie Boyd, and Kevin Boyd. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Friday and after 9:00AM Saturday. He was born in Paris, TN to the late Ellis Mathis Clayton and Jessie B. Boyd Clayton. He was married to Linda Sue Gargus Clayton, she preceded February 10, 2001. Survived by a daughter: Lila (Joey) Davis, Puryear, TN; son: Darrell Gargus, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Wesley Dakota Green, Chelsey Shantel Clayton, Derek Brandon Davis, Anthony Hunter Davis; great-grandchild: Savannah Lynn Green; brother: Kenneth Clayton, Puryear, TN and several nieces and nephews.
