Funeral service 1:30PM Sunday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Michael Barnhart of New Bethel Baptist Church officiating, burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Central City, IL. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons from New Bethel Baptist Church. She was born in Puryear, TN to the late Waymon and Minnie Boyd Jackson. On February 6, 1940 she married Ralph Thomas McClain, he preceded October 1, 1980. Survived by nieces: Kay Webb, Paris, Faye (Melvin) Duke, Puryear and a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by a son in infancy: Bobby Joe McClain; sisters: Frances Corinne Matheny, Lorene Merrell, Pearl Charles and Vela Gray Jackson preceded in infancy. Mrs. McClain was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She retired from Hollywood Brand Candy Factory, formerly of Centralia, IL.
