Robert Ball, age 79 of Whitlock, Tennessee passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at his residence. His funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, June 28, 2020 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Steve Gallimore of Tennessee Valley Community Church officiating. Burial will follow at Birds Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00 noon Sunday prior to the service. Pallbearers will be William Bussey, Bill Wolfe, Richard Ball, Darrell Osborn, John Higton, and Steve Page. Robert Ball was born March 21, 1941 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Robert Mason "Cuff" Ball and the late Lois Taber Ball. On December 24, 1965 he married Linda Eldridge Ball and she survives in Whitlock, Tennessee. Along with his wife, Mr. Ball is also survived by his daughter, Misty LeAnn Ball of Whitlock, TN; two sisters: twin - Robbie (Charles) McNutt of Paris, TN and Janice (Bill) Wolfe of Bartlett, TN; and a grandchild. Besides his parents, Mr. Ball was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dena Ball Hicks (January 26, 2018) and a brother, Billy Ball (October 1, 2000). Robert Ball was a member of Birds Creek Baptist Church. He was a United States Veteran who worked and retired as an electrician from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City.
