A 1:00PM graveside service will be conducted by family members on Thursday January 2nd at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, no visitation is scheduled prior to the service. Survived by daughters: Margaret Kennedy, Paris, Joyce (Gary) Dobrick, Irvine, CA; son: Bill (Gayle) Blackburn, Puryear; grandchildren: Sara Lynn (Charlie) Jessee, Jason (Jackie) Harber, Raquel (Terry) Casey, Tracy (Jason)Hames; great-grandchildren: Peyton and Kailyn Jessee, Zach Harber, Claire Casey, Ashton and Tyler Livendale; step-children: Doug Oaks, Brian Oaks and Rebecca Hawley all of Dayton, OH area. Preceded by his wife: Dottie Blackburn; parents: Leland E. and Ethel Smith Blackburn and sister: Marion Holmes. Mr. Blackburn was born in Monroe County, IN and later moved to Dayton, OH where he was a longtime resident and local business owner of Okay equipment Rental Co.
