Robert "Bobby" Broach, age 78, of Paris passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at AHC Paris Senior Living. His funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 10, 2022 at McEvoy Funeral Home with William "Bill" Looney to officiate. Burial will follow the service in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is scheduled on Sunday after 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. Robert Euel Broach was born February 9, 1944, in McKenzie, Tennessee to the late Sidney Euel Broach and the late Minnie Mae Martin Broach. He is survived by his brother, Elmer Broach of Paris; niece, Rhonda Broach (Dave) Purdon of Paris; nephews, Andy and wife Ann Broach of Paris, Roger and wife Bonnie Broach of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Ronnie Broach of Henry. Mr. Broach was a U.S. Army veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam and attaining the rank of Sergeant (E5). He drove for Yellow Cab Company formerly of Paris and for Northwest Tennessee Resource Development. Bobby was an avid sports fan, especially football, keeping up with teams' stats and scores. The family said simply that Bobby enjoyed life.
