Robert Bob Burress

Mr. Robert Bob Burress, age 83, of Buchanan, TN, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at his residence. His body was cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at West Wood Pentecostal Church of God. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:30 until service time at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Burress is survived by his wife Kathy Gates Walker. They were married on October 12, 2001. Bob is also survived by step-daughters; Bobbette Phillips, Edwards Port, IN, Brandy Young, Buchanan, TN, step-son; Denny Walker, AZ, sister; Lucille Carrico, Bicknell, IN, sister-in-law; Wanda Burress, Westphalia, IN, brother; Charlie (Nina) Burress, Bicknell, IN. Bob is also survived by ten grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded by parents; Almon and Nellie Long Burress, daughter; Robin Burress, step-daughter; Karen Sharp, brother; Bill Burress, brother-in-law; Lester Carrico. Mr. Burress was a Veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Robert was a heavy equipment operator and owned Bettys Caf with his wife Bette Burress, who preceded him in death. For the past 15 years he has helped raise a grand daughter, Brittany Jo
