Mr. Robert "Mac" Caldwell, age 74, of Paris, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024 at his residence. His body is to be cremated and a memorial celebration of his life visitation will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 3:00 until 7:00 P.M. Robert Carmack Caldwell was born July 31, 1950 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Robert K. Caldwell and the late Sue Baucum Caldwell. He married Diane Johnson Caldwell in 1997 and she survives in Paris. He is also survived by sons, Trevor (Rachelle) Caldwell of Franklin, Tennessee and Brian (Bobbi) Bell of Anaheim, California; by daughter, Staci (Travis) Stills of Milton, Florida; by grandchildren, Addison and Brenna Caldwell, Shelby, Chloe, and Jayden Bell, Sierra, Gabriella and Alexia Stills; by sister Carol Caldwell Spradlin of Paris; by cousin, Jeanie Webb of Bellevue, Washington; and by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Besides his parents, Mac is also preceded in death by his daughter, Lindsey Caldwell (prec. 2021); by sisters, Karon Reed and Suegayle "Slick" Harding; and a brother, William Robert Caldwell. Mr. Caldwell was a Christian by faith. He formerly worked for Celotex of Paris, Kestersons and Champion Homes. Mac was well known for his restoring and repurposing of furniture, woodworking and unique creations. He was also known to be a grill master, great story teller and had a wonderful sense of humor. Mac was a loving husband, father, brother, and son as well as a friend to many.
