Robert "Mason" Conger

Robert “Mason” Conger, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at his residence in Paris, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, at 1:00 PM, September 5, 2026, at McEvoy Funeral Home, Paris, TN, with Bro. Cliff Evans of New Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at VanDyke Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday beginning at 10:30 AM until service time. Pallbearers will be Robert Long, Eddie Gaskins, Chase Witherspoon, Christopher Conger, Lucas Conger, Callon Conger, and Colson Conger.

Mason was born May 21, 1955, to William Edward and Era Mai Hooper Conger, both preceded. On April 10, 1980, he married Barbara Reynolds Conger, and she survives in Paris, TN. He is also survived by sons: James M. (Lisa) Conger of Charlotte, NC, and David A. (Linda F.) Conger of Paris, TN; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Thomas Conger.

Mason was a no-nonsense, hard-working, good, down-to-the-bone husband, dad, and friend.
