Robert Richard Kotsch, age 68 of Big Sandy, TN passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024, in Camden, TN. His celebration of life will be from 1:00-3:00 pm on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Paris Station, 304 W. Washington Street in Paris.
Robert Richard Kotsch was born April 7, 1956, in Marshall, MI to Maridean Maye "Skip" Cowles Elam of Nashville, and the late Richard Herbert Kotsch. On May 1, 2004, he married Tammy Lynn Card Kotsch, who survives in Big Sandy.
Robert was an avid churchgoer at TVCC, a fisherman, and a nature lover. He and Tammy always looked forward to their next adventure together and loved camping, traveling, boating, and being as far south as possible. He never hesitated to stop and help someone in need from strangers to animals. His laugh was big and it was contagious. He was dearly loved by his friends, family, and anyone he crossed paths with. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his mother and his wife, Robert is also survived by stepchildren: Brook Ray (Elvis) of Paris; Chelsea Lodge (Jonathan) of Paris and Koby Perry of Atwood; grandchildren: Jacinda Bates, Jayce Reddick, Jakari Ray, Brice Donaldson, Cabot Lodge, Fern Lodge, Rosalie Lodge, Aubrey Needles-Perry, Talan Paschall, and Korben Perry; great-grandchild, Roan Robinson; sister, Linda Sheriff (Joe) of Key Largo, FL; brother, David Kotsch (Teresa) of Cromwell, KY; step-brothers: Doug Elam (Vicki) of Lewisburg, TN and Ed Elam (Theresa) of Jamestown, TN; and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends that were as close as brothers.
Besides his father, Robert was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Ariel Elam.
