Mr. Robert T. Taylor age 86, passed away August 14, 2015. His Funeral service will be held graveside 11:00 AM at Maplewood Cemetery, Monday, August 17, 2015 with Dr. Rob Martin of First United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be at McEvoy, Sunday 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM. Named as pallbeares are; Jarrett Kinsland, Andrew Stanton, Craig Brown, Mark Brown, Glenn Lee, Carl Rogers; honorary pallbearers; Jason Thompson, Alvin Shankle, Lester Snyder, and Evan Lemonds. Mr. Taylor was born January 6, 1929 in Paris, TN to the late Robert L. Taylor and Carmen Anderson Taylor. On March 15, 1951 he married Patricia Berry Taylor, who survives. He is survived by daughter, Carmen Taylor Kinsland of Paris, TN; son, Johnny Taylor of Paris, TN; grandchildren; Jarrett Kinsland of Paris, TN, Mitzi Barker of Paris, TN, Jana Taylor of Spokane, WA, step-grandson: Brett Peterson of Spokane, WA; great-grandchildren, Megan Eckenrode and great great-grandchild, Ariana Eckenrode. Mr. Taylor was preceded by son, James "Jimmy" Taylor, who preceded on February 19, 1994; sisters, Claire Taylor Lonardo, who preceded December 12, 2009, Nancy Lee, who preceded April 15, 1993. Robert was a member of First United Methodist Church in Paris. He was former owner of Taylor Tire Company, and was a farmer who raised horses and beef cattle. He was a lover of rocks and gem stones. Mr. Taylor was a veteran in the U.S. Army and also the National Guard.
