Rodney Craig Atkinson

Mr. Rodney Craig Atkinson, age 45 of Paris, TN. died Monday April 2, 2009 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday April 9, 2009 at the PAris Convention Center. Visitation will be Wednesday form 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at McEvoy Funeral Home and Thursday after 1:00 P.M. at the Paris Convention Center. He was married March 20, 2008 to Tonia Lynn Houston Atkinson of Paris, who survives. He is survived by his parents, Wilbur Payne of IN. and Amelia Atkinson, Paris and his mother-inlaw, Bernice Dial of Paris, TN. He had two sons Christopher and Tristen Atkinson, both of Clarksville, TN. and step children Shelby and Brandon McMurry, both of Paris, TN. Rodney had one grandchild, Umaury Atkinson of Clarksville, TN. His brothers Dion (Sandra) Atkinson, Clarksville, TN. and Brian Atkinson, Paris, TN also survive.Locally he leaves two uncles Roland and Frederick Atkinson.
