Ronald Gene Gendron, Sr., age 71 of Cottage Grove, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His body is to be cremated and no services are scheduled. Ronald Gene Gendron, Sr. was born January 11, 1948 in Wayne County, Michigan to the late Lionel Gene Gendron and the late Ruby Mae Gendron. On June 27, 1970 he married Bonnie Lou French Gendron and she preceded him in death on March 22, 2018. Mr. Gendron is survived by two daughters: Rhonda (Richard) Conger of Paris, TN and Renee (Frank) Wheeler of Puryear, TN; one son, Ronnie (Jesse) Gendron, Jr. of Cottage Grove, TN; one sister, Loraine (Ray) Pippen of Michigan; one brother, Jimmy Pippen of Cookeville, TN; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, Mr. Gendron was also preceded in death by two brothers: Sonny Gendron and Gary Gendron. Mr. Gendron loved his family and loved to ride motorcycles.
