Ronald C. Owen, age 79 of Paris, Tennessee passed away Monday, January 4, 2021at Henry County Medical Center. His graveside funeral service will be held 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church between Henry and Como with Bro. Rex Buford to officate. No public visitation is scheduled. Ronald C. Owen was born September 3, 1941 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late Warren Albert Owen and the late Audie Maie Lawrence Owen. He married Cheryle Asher Owen on February 14, 1983 and she preceded him in death on February 22, 2019. He is survived by daughters, Laureace (Bobby Joe) Roberts of Paris, Christine (Jerry) Esch of McKenzie and Michellia Wilson of McKenzie; brother, Bobby (Brenda) Owen of Puryear and sister-in-law, Pat Owen of Dyersburg. Ronald is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members. Besides his parents and wife, Mr. Owen is also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Ray Owen and Roe Owen. He was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Ronald worked as a Federal employee with the Tennessee Soil Conservation District.
