Funeral service 1:00 PM Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Dwight Turner of Henry County Tabernacle Church officiating, burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. His nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation 4:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday and after 11:00 AM Wednesday. He was born in Henry County, TN to the late Woodrow B. Sanders and Callie B. Francisco Sanders. Survived by sisters: Nadine (William) Hatley, Beechmont, KY, Josephine Funderberk, Dennis, MS; brothers: Weldon "Cotton" (Betty) Sanders, Springville, TN, Melvin (Selona) Sanders, Springville, TN; caregiver and special friend: Crystal Montgomery, Huntingdon, TN, who he thought of as a daughter and he is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by a brother-in-law: Jack Funderberk. Ronnie was in the first graduating class at Henry County High School. He had been in the timber business, built many houses in the Henry County area and bought and sold real estate. Ronnie's sayings were "I did it my way" and "I'm the captain of my ship."
