Rosalie Manz, age 93, of Springville, Tennessee passed away Tuesday May 7, 2019 at Henry County Medical Center. Her body is to be cremated and a memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 15, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Stephens to officiate. Burial will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing, Michigan next to her parents at a later date. Visitation is scheduled after 10:00 A.M. Saturday until time of the memorial service. Rosalie Manz was born October 6, 1925 in Onley, Illinois to the late Frederick Manz and the late Margret Sherwood Manz. She is survived by her sister, Priscilla Martin of Buchanan; cousins, Janet Bishop of Peoria, Illinois and Jane Hapeman of DeKalb, Illinois; and by friends and caregivers. Ms. Manz was a graduate of Michigan State University, where she earned her masters degree. She taught math for 13 years in the Bay City, Michigan school system. She also worked for the IRS in Lansing, Michigan and retired as a rural mail carrier in Vermontville, Michigan. Rosalie enjoyed collecting stamps and she volunteered at Henry County Helping Hand.
