Funeral service 11:00AM Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Stephens of Sulphur Well Church of Christ officiating, burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Buchanan, TN. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Tuesday and after 9:00AM Wednesday. Pallbearers for Mrs. Neese will be Frank Maupin, Bobby Swayne, Todd Birky, Matt Grimmett, Jody Odle, David Gilbreth and Jason Gilbreth. She was born in Henry County, TN to the late Homer Thomas and Winnie Kendall Swayne. On January 20, 1943 she married Calvin C. Neese, he preceded December 23, 1985. Survived by daughters: Priscilla (Jimmy) Gilbert, Big Sandy, Janice (Paul) Charles, Buchanan, Patsy Walker, Buchanan; son: David "Butch" (Debbie) Neese, Nashville; brother: Robert F. "Bob" Swayne, Paris; grandchildren: David (Rhonda Arnold) Gilbreth, Jason Gilbreth, Carrie Joe (Todd Birky) Charles, Lyndsey Walker (Matt) Grimmett, Allison Kay Walker; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by a daughter-in-law: Paula Neese; son: Tony Neese, July 16, 1993; son-in-law: Lindy Walker; sister: Peggy Tucker, May 1, 2013 and a brother: Homer Thomas "H.T." Swayne, Jr. Mrs. Neese was a member of the Sulphur Well Church of Christ. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many whose life she touched.
