Ms. Rosemary Thompson, age 64 of Paris, Tennessee passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Allegiance Hospice Home in Jackson, Michigan. Her visitation with the family will be from 11:00AM until 4:00PM Saturday, July 8, 2017 at McEvoy Funeral Home. Cremation will follow visitation and no service is scheduled. Rosemary Thompson was born August 16, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Edward Joseph DuFour and the late Rose Anne Stella DuFour. On July 1, 1972 she married Robert G. Thompson who preceded her in death on December 31, 2003. Ms. Thompson is survived by six sons: Tommy (Maureen) Thompson of Paris; Christopher (Jessica) Thompson of Buchanan; Austin (Breanna) Thompson of Puryear; Robert (Terri) Thompson of Charleston, SC; Bradley (Penny) Thompson of Grand Rapids, MI; and Eric (Jill) Thompson of Rock, MI; one daughter: Diana Thompson of Romulus, MI; two sisters: Dorothy Schoolmaster of Ypsilanti, MI and Anita (Nelson) Amrhein of Grass Lake, MI; numerous grandchildren including: Gary Edward Thompson, Jr., Houston Beck Thompson, Sophia Roseanne Thompson, Thomas Richard Thompson, Jr., Aaron Glen Thompson, Nathan Christopher Thompson, Carlie Ann Thompson, and Mason Christopher Thompson; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Ms. Thompson was also preceded in death by a daughter: Rebecca Lynn Thompson; a son: Gary E. Thompson; and two sisters: Toni Taylor and Ginny DuFour. Rosemary Thompson formerly worked at Shoney's, Tom's Pizza, and Wal-Mart, all in Paris. SERVICES
