Funeral service to be held at McEvoy Funeral Home with Rev. Jenna Goggins officiating. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery. Visitation 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday; after 9:00 A.M. Monday at McEvoy Funeral Home. He was born in Henry County, TN to the late A.B. Freeman and Mildred Margaret Henry Freeman. On June 5, 1948 he married Helen Williams who survives in Paris, TN. Mr. Freeman is survived by son: Jim Freeman of Clarksville, TN; sister: Margaret Ann (Joe) Speight of South Fulton, TN; brothers: Bobby (Shelby) Freeman of Paris, TN, Jerry Freeman of Mexico, Danny (Sherry) Freeman of Paris, TN; grandchildren: Amanda (Tim) Mitchell and Jason (Joanne) Freeman. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded by two sons, Steven Blake Freeman and John Michael Freeman. Roy served as an Elder and was a very active member of the First Presbyterian Church, working a number of years with the "Meals on Wheels".
