Funeral service 2:00PM Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Barnhart of New Bethel Baptist Church officiating, burial will follow at Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Michael Robertson, Joey Robertson, Darren Robertson, Doug Robertson, Eric Johnson, Robert Mercier, Chad Smith and Josh Lindsey. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Monday and after 11:00AM Tuesday. He was born in Oklahoma to the late Roy N. and Daisy Bevill Robertson. On July 14, 1950 he married Amy Elois Robertson, she preceded April 24, 2011. Survived by sons: Danny (Charlotte) Robertson, Puryear, Dennis Robertson, Puryear, David (Julia) Robertson, Summerville, SC, Darrel (Wanda) Robertson, Buchanan, Donald (Lee Ann) Robertson, Pensacola, FL; fourteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; several brothers, sisters, step-brothers and step-sisters. Roy enjoyed Camping and traveling, he loved his family and especially his grandchildren. His special pal and companion was his dog "Lizzie".
