Rubin R. Adams

Rubin R. Adams, age 63 of Puryear passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at his residence. His drive-in (remain in your car) memorial service will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Westside Baptist Church in Murray, KY with Bro. Don Wilson officiating. Rubin R. Adams was born June 2, 1956 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Desmond Adams and Mary Jane Adams of Puryear, Tennessee. On July 4, 2001 he married Debra Herron Adams and she survives in Puryear. Along with his mother and wife, Mr. Adams is also survived by four daughters: Ami Adams (Joe) Darnall of Murray, KY, Erin Adams (Jeremy) Murray of Old Hickory, TN, Colleen Adams (Jeremy) Glastetter of Scott City, MO, and Jessica Adams (Russell Sweatman) of Murray, KY; nine grandchildren: Johanna Adams, Bryce Chester, Jaycob Fitzhugh, Madison Murray, Lillie Curtis, Andrew Murray, Sophie Adams, Ainsley Murray, and Adam Glastetter; one sister, Debbie (Mike) Shoulders of Clarksville, TN; an uncle, Winston (Joan) Adams of Murray, KY and an aunt, Cynthella (Jimmy) Stewart of Florida. Besides his father, Mr. Adams was also preceded in death by a sister, Maria Adams; and a brother, Neil Adams.
