Funeral service 2:00PM Monday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Whitworth of New Hope United Methodist Church officiating with burial to follow at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery in Carroll County, TN. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will serve as pallbearers with members of New Hope United Methodist Church serving as honorary pallbearers. She was born in Pleasant Hill Community, TN to the late John and Mable Bomar Frensley. On April 11, 1936 she married William Harold Turner, he preceded may 8, 1992. Survived by sons: William C. (Faye) Turner, Springville, Jimmie T. (Cathy) Turner, Vale, David L. (Angie) Turner, Huntingdon; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many friends and extended family. Preceded by sisters: Pauline Allison, Johnie Carter and a brother: Thomas Frensley. Mrs. Turner was the oldest member of the New Hope United Methodist Church, oldest member (over 50yrs.) of Vale Home Demonstration Club (F.C.E. Club). She was a cook at the Vale School, PMR (Post Master Relief) at Vale Tennessee Post Office. She was known to be a loving wife and mother. Memorials may be made to: Gideons International, P.O.
