Mrs. Downey is survived by a daughter Susan (Gary) Nichols of Hopkinsville KY,. Grandchildren Josh (Jennifer) Nichols of Cadiz KY. Megan Nichols of Hopkinsville KY, Great-grandren Keller Michael Nichols, Keaton Lacy Nichols of Cadiz, KY. Ruth was married to the late Lacy Downey who preceded in 2006.
