Funeral service 10:00AM Tuesday at Paris First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Steven Hoots, Pastor of Paris First United Pentecostal Church officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Tim Strom, Josh Strom, Brian Thompson, Scott Clifton, Shawn Vickers, Danny Hargrove. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Monday at Paris First United Pentecostal Church. She was born in Jasper County, IN to the late Ernest and Lula Nelson Sweeney. On April 26, 1947 she married Louis W. Ellefson, he preceded July 7, 1991. Survived by daughters: Bonnie Carson, Paris, Darlene (Timothy) Strom Portage,IN; step-daughter: Velda (Lyle) Wheatley, Manistique, MI; step-son: Thomas (Connie) Ellefson, Chesterton, IN; four grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by sisters: Leta Jones, Margaret Hill, Sylvia Schlitzer and Mary Schlitzer; six brothers: John, Walter, George, Leonard, Charlie and Frank Sweeney.
