Sam Collier, age 88, Paris, TN, died Thursday at Paris Health Care Center. His funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Paris Community of Christ Church with burial to follow in Walker Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday at McEvoy's and after 1:00 PM Sunday at the church. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Madeline Lemonds Collier. He is also survived by children, Gary S. (Kathy) Collier, Janice (Ronnie) Wimberly, Chris (Joe) Andrews, Giggie Jo Collier, all of Paris, and Carol (Ross) Howe, Alabama, son-in-law, Don Matlock, Paris. He was preceded by daughter, Joyce Matlock, October 3, 2003. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, preceded by one and survived by nineteen great-grandchildren. A nephew, Glynn (Jane) Collier, Nashville, TN survives.
