Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra Lee Dunlap Akers, age 69, of Paris, TN will be conducted on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Bevil Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday. Mrs. Akers is survived by husband Charles Akers. They were married on April 26, 1996. Mrs. Akers is also survived by a daughter; Gina (Tim) Hudgins, Paris, TN, sons; Larry (Marsha) Milliken, Paducah, KY, James D. (Cindy) Milliken, Paris, TN, sisters; Linda Berry, Paris, TN, Brenda Lewis, Paris, TN, Geraldine (Billy) Somerville, Paris, TN, grandchildren; Brian (Susan) Milliken, Bonnie (Todd) French, Autumn Milliken, Megan Milliken, Monica Young, Lisa Wilson, Audrey Havener, great grandchildren; Blake Milliken, Ella French, Garrete Evans, Lakan Evans, Hailey Hixson, Hayden Hixson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded by parents; Roy Lee and Merle Scott Dunlap, grandson; Robert Wilson, niece; Missy Bowers. Bro. Craig Peveyhouse, of Birds Creek Baptist Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brian Milliken, Todd French, Michael Somerville, Timothy Berry, Ricky Allen, and Blake Jones. Chris Berry will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
