Funeral service 1:00PM Wednesday at the Henry Church of Christ with Bro. Roger Graham, Henry Church of Christ and Bro. Rex Buford, Como Church of Christ officiating, burial will follow at VanDyke Church of Christ Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Lynn Parker, Craig Parker, Terrill Parker, Tim Parker, Jesse Parker, Roy Lee Ray and Lance Winders. The 1961 classmates of Henry High School will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home and after 11:00AM Wednesday at the Henry Church of Christ.
She was born in Mansfield to the late Clyde Thomas and Beatrice Mizell Parker. On July 30, 1960 she married David Lindsey, he survives, Mansfield.
Survived by daughters: Donna (Lee) Winders, Mansfield, Diane (Alan) Lancaster, Paris; son: James (Lisa) Lindsey, Mansfield; sisters: Margaret (Rex) Enoch, Hazel, KY, Cynthia (Lars) Kearbey, Lakeland; brothers: Wallace (Ruthie) Parker, Paris, Norman (Lonnell) Parker, Nashville; grandchildren: Crystal (Grant) Norwood, Joshua (Kristy) Lindsey, James (Jamie) Williamson, Ashley (Jesse) Allison, Megan (Nathan) Blackwell, Ryan (Candace) Lindsey, Sara Williamson, Luke Williamson and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Preceded by a sister: Regina Parker; two brothers: Terry Parker and Clyde Parker.
Mrs. Lindsey was a longtime member of the Henry Church of Christ. She was a teacher in the Henry County School System for over 37 years, member of the TEA and Henry County Educators Association where she served many times on the negotiating committee. Jeannette was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, member of the Pleasant Hill FCE, co-owner of Lindsey Farm and Lindsey Mini Storage.
