Sara Lynn Thornton

Sara L. Thornton, age 63 of Buchanan, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the Henry County Hospital. Interment will take place in New Liberty Cemetery, Buchanan, Tennessee, with no public services scheduled.

Sara Lynn Thornton was born on November 25, 1962, in Houston, Texas, to Charles W. Thornton and Jenette Gibson Thornton, who both survive in Buchanan, Tennessee. Sara is also survived by her brother, Charles Thornton of Oakland, Tennessee.

Ms. Thornton was a Baptist by faith. She was a dog lover who had many pets over the years. Sara formerly worked as an accountant in retail sales.
