Mrs. Sarah Owen McGuire, age 81, of Paris, TN, died Friday, January 14, 2011 at Plumley Rehab, in Paris, TN. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday evening at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. and after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Mrs. McGuire was married on September 25, 1964 to J.C. McGuire who preceded her in death on September 9, 1996. She is survived by a son: Timothy Charles McGuire, Paris, TN, sister; Joyce Morris, Cumberland Furnace, TN, brothers; James (Geneva) Owen, Lansing, MI, Gordon Owen, Paris, TN, Byron (Betty) Owen, Paris, TN. She is preceded by parents; Henry Washington and Mattie Bell Vaughn Owen, sisters; Geneva McClure, Naomi Woodward, Marjorie Heath, brother; Harold Owen. Mrs. McGuire was a graduate of E.W. Grove High School class of 1948, and a member of Nelson Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
