Sharon L. Conger

Sharon L. Conger, age 69, of Paris, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026, at her residence. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Crossett of Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 pm at McEvoy Funeral Home, and after 12:00 pm on Wednesday, before the service at McEvoy Funeral Home.

Sharon Conger was born on October 23, 1956, in Chicago, IL, to the late Tremon and Iva Lee Johnson Hutchens. On June 9, 1972, she married Larry Conger, and he survives in Paris.

Sharon was a member of Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved watching the hummingbirds and always enjoyed her visits from the grandchildren. She also loved her wrestling matches whenever they were on television.

In addition to her husband, Sharon is also survived by her sons: David Conger and Brian (Sissy) Conger, all of Paris; grandchildren: Alex Conger, Tyson Conger, Caleb Travis, Jake Castello, and Rachael Dennis; great-grandchild, Skyler Castello; three sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Besides her parents, Sharon was also preceded in death by three brothers.
