Sharon Kay James, age 58 of Paris, TN, passed away Saturday October 3, 2015 at her residence. Funeral service 12:00PM Tuesday October 6, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Smith of Church of God of Prophecy officiating, burial to follow at Memorial Cemetery. Visitation 10:00AM until service time. Named as pallbearers are Dean Lemonds, Ronnie Williams, David French, Rod James, Russ James and Scott Rice. She was born May 17, 1957 in Benton County, TN to the late Rye French and Willie Mae Allen, survives, Paris, TN. On September 1, 1979 she married Kenneth Ray James, he survives Paris, TN. Survived by sisters: Mary Merrell, Big Sandy, TN, Sue (Carlton) Brewer, Paris, TN, Martha Lemonds, Paris, TN, Linda (Richard) Cantrell, Paris, TN; brother: Jerry (Wanda) French, Paris, TN; nine nieces and nephews and several cousins. Preceded by a sister: Jean Williams. Mrs. James was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She worked at Henry County Medical Center for over 30 years, was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her husband.
