Sheila Ruth Rogers McDaniel

Sheila Rogers McDaniel, age 69, of Paris, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026, at her sister’s residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at McEvoy Funeral Home, conducted by Bro. Russell Ragsdale of Friendship Baptist Church. Named as pallbearers are, Bryan French, Austin French, Dylan McDaniel, Frankie Scott, Archie Steele, and Daren Franklin; with honorary pallbearers, David Maynard, Alton Watson, Keith Rogers, and Kevin Rogers. Burial will follow the service in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation is planned from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, and after 12:00 P.M. Thursday until time of the service.

Ms. McDaniel was born August 31, 1956 in Evansville, IN to the late Herbert Eugene Rogers and Lillian Snow Rogers. She is also preceded by her special friend and companion, Richard Wyatt. Sheila is survived by her daughter, Kimberley Dawn McDaniel (Danny) of Paris; son, Michael Paul (Sharlyn) McDaniel of Paris; grandchildren, Bryan (Miranda) French, Austin Dale (Ali) French, Dylan McDaniel, Karsyn Tubbs and Payton Wood; great-grandchildren, Damon French and Ellie Jane French; sisters, Linda (David) Franklin, Robbie (Archie) Steele, and Terrie (Alton) Watson, all of Paris; brother, Herbert Allen (Judy) Rogers of Water Valley, MS.

Ms. McDaniel is also preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Renee McDaniel; niece, Stacie Townsend, and nephew, Dustin Steele.

Sheila was a Baptist by faith who formerly worked at Holley Carburetor of Paris. She enjoyed being around her family and friends.
