Shelia Carter Davidson, age 57 of Brighton, Tennessee (formerly of Mansfield) passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at her residence. Her funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 18, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Don Elkins to officiate. Burial will follow the service in Shiloh Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are: Jeremiah Marr, Randy Carter, Tim Carter, Bryan Carter, Phil Crawford, and Dakota Elkins; honorary pallbearers: Derek Carter, Eddie Lankford, Tommy Lankford, and Joseph Dakota Whitehead. Visitation is scheduled at McEvoy Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. and again on Monday after 12:00 P.M. until time of service. Shelia was born on February 23, 1961 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Terry F. Carter (who passed away on October 15, 1995) and Carolyn Toler Carter who survives in Mansfield. She is also survived by her fianc: Chuck Whitehead of Brighton, daughters: Shea Davidson of Memphis and Mandy Elkins of Wingo, Kentucky, son: Josh (Devon) Elkins of Atoka, Tennessee, brother: Jerry (Sheri) Carter of Mansfield, and grandchildren: Blake Milliken, Taylor Elkins, Ashlynn Elkins, Samuel Elkins, Bentley Elkins, Dakota Elkins, and Kayleen Elkins. Ms. Davidson was owner/operator of her own hair salon in Bartlett for many years. She was known for her good cooking, was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
