Funeral Service for Mr. Patterson will be Sunday 3:00 PM McEvoy Funeral Chapel, Bro. Jack Thacker of Grace Baptist Church officiating with burial to follow at Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers; Marty Patterson, Austin Patterson, Brandon Lackey, Jim Dickerson, Jeff Page, Tim Lee, Michael Lee and Mark Lee. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday and after 11:00 AM Sunday. He is survived by a daughter; Windy Bruce and Jim Dickerson, Paris, sons; Marty (Tammy) Patterson, Paris, Tommy (Michelle) Patterson, Dexter, KY, step-son; Donnie Lampkins, Gleason, TN, sisters; Leona (Barnum) Cowan and Ruby (William) Cowan both of Lincoln County, TN, brother; Shirley (Margaret) Patterson, Lincoln County, TN, grandchildren; Noah, Jacob and Whitney Lampkins, April White, Amanda Lackey, Austin and Hanna Patterson, great-grandchildren; Tristian Lackey, Madilyn and Gracie White and Hanna Watson, also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded by his wife; Etta Faye Patterson June 18, 2009, a son Richard "Squeaky" Patterson and his parents; P.J. Patterson and Lucille Johns Patterson. Sherman was a Baptist and worked at Tank Lining for 18 years.
